Independent Living / Achieving Independence in Maine
AIM is a transitional housing program for young adults on the Autism Spectrum who are in their developmental "launching" years. AIM's goal is to help these individuals develop the necessary functional, social and life skills to be able to live independently in the community. This program relies heavily on partnerships with natural supports as a bridge to life after AIM. The program supports each individual's social, educational and recreational pursuits.
The intention is for individuals to "graduate" from the program within 24 months.
